Quality Initiatives
High quality nurtures trust.
We examine and enhance the quality of all our gas products on a continuous basis before delivering them to our customers.
Having the necessary facilities and equipment is certainly important to always produce high quality, but quality awareness among production site employees is also essential to ensure thorough quality control. Thus, we distribute to all our plants a “QC Process Chart.” This is a document that graphically shows in detail the flow of entire processes, from reserving materials to refining, filling, analyzing, inspecting and shipping products, accompanied by information on the latest relevant know-how. Based on this chart, our plants make daily to create high quality in all processes.

Plant production management via an original system
We employ an original system to manage a database containing records of all processes from order receiving to shipment, user-specific information (user specifications), and raw materials information, and to maintain the traceability of such records.
We also use the records in the database to assess and monitor the purity and concentration of gases in real time according to a tool based on a method of statistical process management.
QC circle activities
Since our founding, we have promoted steady QC activities with full employee participation. As a result, large numbers of QC circles have accumulated numerous quality improvements (presented once a year at each plant and at national conventions).
JCSS accredited plants (Oyama Plant, Kawasaki Plant)
The Oyama Plant is a JCSS accredited plant, acknowledged for its advanced techniques for the analysis of standard gases. JCSS (Japan Calibration Service System) is an accreditation institution that certifies traceability under the Measurement Act.
Our other three plants share the same level of analysis techniques as the Oyama Plant. The Kawasaki Plant is an accredited production facility for standard zero gases.
ISO-9001 certification
We ensure thorough management of all production processes.
Our company as a whole has acquired ISO9001 (ASR-Q4416) certification, the international standard for quality management systems.
